About the Artist

In 2022, Maura began her pottery journey in her sister-in-law's basement studio. She now works from her own basement space, where the process of throwing, trimming, and glazing has become a regular part of her day-to-day. Each piece begins with a vision, yet the clay often takes its own direction, producing results that highlight the unpredictability and beauty of the process. Maura’s work is a continual exploration of what pottery can become.
